Achala Wannigama was called to the bar in 2010, amassing over thirteen years of successful work experience as an Attorney-at-Law at the Supreme Court of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and a Notary Public in Colombo. Achala has achieved the completion of her Post Attorney Diploma in Company Law from the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS) under the Council of Legal Education. Her professional background encompasses prior roles as a Quantity Surveyor and Claim Management Officer in road development projects funded by Japan, in addition to involvement in numerous other projects.

Her expertise spans diverse legal domains, including Civil and Commercial Litigation, Project Finance, Infrastructure Projects, Commercial/Construction Dispute Resolution, as well as proficiency in Foreign Investment Handling and Property Management.
